Do you know how to keep a raccoon out of sweet corn?

Small garden...least 6' foot fence with lest 4" under ground.

Train your dog to chase it away for a few days and it will eventually move on. Some people use an electric fence. Some encase the corn with chicken wire and bury it under the ground too to keep them from digging under. I have a small patch of corn and I used some of those devices that are meant to scare cats away. It activates when it detects motion. That and the dog did the trick for me. Good luck! Coons can be a real nuisance.

I'm with the others, get a dog and teach it to run them off. You'll see an improvement in no time. Of course, the dog's upkeep will likely cost you more than the corn though.

Encircling the area electric fence is the most effective way. If you choose to follow this route, have one wire 4 to 6 inches above the ground and the other at 12 inches. Ideally, and for effectiveness sake, do the installation about two weeks before the sweet corn reaches the milk stage.
