Four years ago I bought a second hand swather to use with our l2 Gleaner. Most local farms pair up an 18' swather with the l2. However on the advice of a local friend and farmer, we bought a 20'. A bit big for the l2, but in heavy crops, just pull out and cut less. On light crops, it works great, cause full width it makes a great swath, keeping the l2 working with a full load. Also you get done quicker!! In this case BIGGER is better. Food for thought.
