Have you installed channel helicals or shimed flat onesIJ Have you converted to four paddle dischargeIJ What sort of discharge beater do you haveIJ If you don't have the newer style where you can run with knotched side out I would think about converting to that. You should also check drive pulleys and belts that run beater and spreader. Make sure pulleys are not running warm from belt slipping and be sure they are not bottoming in groove. Maybe most likely belt to allow things to slow down and give you trouble is the double belt on right side behind cylinder belt. That pulley behind there does a ton of work and new belt may even be running on bottom of groove which does not work at all. Also look in discharge chute where plug starts for maybe something is sticking out causing plug to start. Floor behind discharge beater is not so long on N's so it shouldn't hang there but maybe check floor and clean off any stuck on material that could be holding things up. Good luck

I've replaced the discharge beater drive pulley and belt, as well as the blades on the discharge beater, running notched side out. I also replaced the discharge paddles on the rotor. I'm still running two paddles, but I'll be adding two when I replace the seperator bars. I'll also shim the solid helicals. Is there a measurement to tell me when to replace the seperator bars, or is it strictly a judgement callIJ The operator's manual says to replace them when they're worn; it just doesn't tell you how to judge when they're worn out. Thanks a million!

There was a worn parts guideline for N series about 20 years ago. I don't have bullitons with me but I don't think I would go by it anymore anyway. If you can notice the wear I would pull one off and take with to dealership. You'll like see it is time. The angle and condition of rasp is important for it to work with helicals to keep material flowing smoothly.
