moose Guest Oct 21, 2002 #2 I would tend to agree with turbo, we had to do ours (96 R-62) halfway through this season, the two bearings only turn when the machine isn't engaged.

johnboy Guest Oct 21, 2002 #3 As the other posts said it is probably the bearings but it could be the clutch plates dragging.In our dusty conditions we found it paid to blow the main clutch out with an air compressor each day because it seemed to fill up with dirt_dust.john
