it was 02-03 heads so they tell me that had the trouble.I have a new one built 8-28-04 and wish agco had it back. it will not let the corn feed into the throat. the corn is over feeding to far to the center it will not let the corn come in on the third,it will push it down the third row from rhe right.the paint wear on the head at the throat is around a foot wide causing the feed chain to plug or the chain to jump up and down.agco will do noting about either. buy a deere head.

I forget what combine you have but hear are the P_Ns you should order and install. I think this was allready discussed but likely not done. Order floor kit 71371088. Its only about $50US and it smoothens transition from auger to chain. Untill recently I had flighting to extend flighting to and some beyond a centerline just ahead of feed chain. I find a P_N of flighting that should work for you. It should be the right hand flighting and the P_N is 70586576. It should be a piece about 16 3_4" long and only about $10US. I can't imagine where we would be if we waited for help on this stuff. I can't help but think your dealer could get it taken care of when you show them it works. Don't know if your head is worse than others but if you look at the auger gap and let us know if floor is installed we could make a better judgement. Good luck
