OK, read your question again. $14,500 for the 636. That should be about right. DifferenceIJ 4-row heads will be hard to move in this area so you may be ahead to buy the 636 outright and sell yours in your area if you think there would be a chance of selling it. I would guess a trade at maybe $10,000, but that is only a guess.

Either your hand on the hydro handle, or the button on the console that speeds the head up,change one of them and it wont push them down. Sorry I just had to say it.

If you haven't replaced the "spirals" at the front of the snapping rolls for awhile, that is probably your problem. Since I have learned how much difference new ones make over worn ones, I now replace mine every 3-4,000 acres on an 8-30 head. The old ones may not look wore out until you compare to a new spiral. But a little wear makes a world of difference. When I have new spirals on I can run 6 mph with the cornhead on low speed.
