cleaned your coolers outIJ pump is possibly worn badly enough to leak pressure by and cause heating. Smell the oil, does it smell like smokeIJ you will be know what I mean if it does. Might be a releif valve getting weak too.

Haven't changed filter but mechanic said would more likely cause problem when oil was cold and so be thicker and not flow as good. Also had a leaky fitting on valve under cab and when I put new line on oil flowed out and had to come through filter to do that. The filter will be the first thing I change though. Thanks for Info.

Yes I checked Cooler on side of combine looks clear and engine not over heating so I think it is okay. I also think it is a Valve but would like to know for sure before I start spending money. Thanks for your input.

There is a main control spool beside ladder, beside header height control valves that may have lost their o-ring. When oil gets hotter it is thinner and lets more by until you have no pressure left. Happened to me once that way. Header wouldnt lift, but dont know about unloading auger, never tryed it then because it didnt work. Also had to put a different valve body on header height control because of an internal crack that you can hear the head creeping down with everything shut off and real quiet like especially at night. There is another control spool also in this line under the floor which controls the rate of drop which also may have left go. Hope this helps. -dude-
