Combines Hyper Help

OK.....$6500.00 US would be bottom end price range, but seriously $12,000.00 would be maximum. The N series REAllY had a bad rap around these parts. They really talked 'em up to the wheat guys and they couldn't cut with them after 8:00pm in the evening because the straw got "too tough". We were still whackin' away with the ole' CII and the N across the road was parked. I was raised thinking the N series was like the Ford Pinto. Yes, I was born in 1973. I know, I know a young pup. I remember hearing stuff like "yeah ya spend $45,000.00 on a combine and have to buy another $15,000.00 in kits to make it work." Those machines really were the downfall of gleaner as far as market share goes, and this site wasn't around. Heck, the Internet wasn't around to educate those N owners. Sorry, big answer to short question.
