I have used one reverse bar over concave before to spread out the wear and in your case might cure the unthreshed green stem problem with one reverse bar up next to the gearbox and you might then only need one on the discharge end-keep at 180 degrees to each other.Only REAl problem I see is the JD corn head!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the unthreshed pods, try these three options, starting with the simplest. First, increase rotor speed. In some cases this will be just enough to knock open a few stubborn pods. Second, if there are still too many, you can adjust the front portion of your concave manually and independently of the main concave - it's a two-piece concave. You will see a scale and two drawbolts at the front of the concave for this purpose. Standard setting is at the MID position. Try moving it toward the MIN position, but be cautioned that you will have to move this back when you go to corn to maintain proper concave geometry. Third, and this will probably be the most effective of the three, add filler bars to the front section of the concave to hold the pods in the concave longer. They are simply escaping too rapidly and need more time to be properly threshed. Start with two and add from there. No more than 6 should be required. You can get theses from your dealer at minimal cost.

left side of concave and bars you mention have been getting double duty. Just look at where the 1st 2nd and 3rd helical have been droping straw. Add to this the straw is merging into the seperator side. We have limited this double pass over concave in a couple ways. One is install 4 steep pitch bars starting at gear box wall and one steep pitch toward left side of concave. This will make sense if you set the steep pitch in there and see what it looks like. The first helical will be droping the straw on the helical mod over feeder opening. Cheaper way to nearly accomplish the same thing is extend 2nd helical from gearbox with a piece of steep pitch helical to drop straw on feeder helicals filler mod. Then extend the next helical (3rd one) in same manner as 2nd. Remove enough of the standard pitch helicals to accomplish this. Now to ease the transition from thresher to seperator side install a set of rotor sweeps on seperator side. You still have the option of tightening seperator grate and installing a single reverse bar spinning in any one of the four locations to hold or shake things up a bit. To get rid of pods in bin do as the others say: Install two or three filler bars to bottom side of concave starting at very front and tighten front half toward MIN if needed. We like close concave clearance and less rotor speed to keep crop in best condition. You can run the slower cylinder speeds if you have helicals and rotor set up to flow straw well. Good luck
