Combines Hyper Mod

Hey Ryan, I don't believe I would try that. My logic tells me that would be one huge bottle neck and slow you down to a snails pace! When I toured the plant in Jan I remember one of the reps telling a story about the engineers moving the reverse bars forward on the rotor and making one ultra tight baler out of combine. Said it took several hours to undue the damage done in 8 seconds!

Actually a small grain version used to and maybe still does come with just two reverse bars and they are over concave. I actually think reverse bars would be more effective over concave where clearance is closer than seperator side. If I was to play around with reverse bars again I would start at concave but not install any more than one spinning in any one position. I wouldn't count on reverse bars to prevent roping for I'd put all my money on it causeing roping especially if more than one spins in one location in the right conditions (tough that is).
