I'm curious why did you choose the name redbutgreen maybe it's obvious to others but I don't get it. One other thing why are so determined to prove why red is better than silver, when as far as I can see you haven't come up with a legitimate arguement. I know I for one don't care if you can run 5.5mph I'm happy for you but what does that prove. How about some pics, or using some tact rather than just bashing. How about using some of your energy trying to figure out a way to make money in this business with the prices of crops as some of the others on this site have done with the mods they have come up with. You cant get more where from moving it faster,It is still only going the same distance.It just isnt letting it slow down in spots,which takes power.Just keeping the flow.That is my theroy. Illinois Gleaner

You are taking a great combine and making it a little better. It's not just moving it faster but moving it more efficeintly. It's not the same thing for each type of combine either. Rotors need different mods than conventionals

Actually, you get less wear as the material is flowing more evenly through the machine with no constipation. You might get a little more wear on the accelerator rolls, clean grain augar unloading augar etc... but that is because of the increased capacity. Plus you get a cleaner sample and less rotor loss. I would say most defiantly say YES to using some of the princiables that we Gleaner operators are using, they could and should be used on other color machines!!! I know some say that the big JD's could do with some more power! (don't know why 375 HP is not enough but anyway!!) you could use some of the same princables that we use and cross it over to it, same goes for the Case ones as well, get it all flowing well through machine and then adjust (Mod it) to collect grain, this way it's at it's most capacity. One thing though not very many "other colours" like to fiddle much with there machine which could tell you that they are very happy with what they get them or us Gleaner pilot's just carn't get enought!!!!! longer, stronger, Faster, Faster,Faster.....
