Start with the header. It MUST feed smooth. Auger flight must have a 3-5 degree lead or lean to it. Auger must be level and rear flashing be installed. Ususally the closer to the bottom the better. Raise the feeder beater up. Remove the outside four fingers, two on each side. Make sure it is level. level the cyl. side to side. Run it at book settings on clearance and as fast a rpm as possible w_o cracking- speed cracks. Run the lower raddle tight. Remove the lower cleanout panel and you should have to use some force to move the links side to side on the raddle. Raise the metal flap over the sep. raddle at cyl rpms less than 850. MAke sure the eng rpms are at the upper rpm high idle level. If you have a chopper the blades MUST have a sharp leading edge, no rounded edges allowed. Check the rubber snubbers on the shaker shoes and inside on the shaker pan. Set the shoe per the book. It is close. Enjoy!
