Jr64, Welcome to the Silver brigade! I have couple of request of youIJ Make sure you check out all the upgrades and mod in this site as well as Hurtt Equipment site, this will help get more productivity thru your machine, I know that if you do some upgrades and simple mods to your Model machine you will have as big as capacity as any of the NEW other color machines and at a lot lower costs. Number one it to not have any reverse rasp bars in on the separator end of the processor even get a rotor sweep kit from NDDan or TBran as this will increase both capacity and reduce grain loss from the rotor, (You can make them your self if your that way inclined) It seems like the Feeder house pivot floor area is a good upgrade to do (smoothes out the floor from the front feeder to the rear feeder, Claims of 20+% improvements to feeding) Steep pitched Channel helicals over Thresher end of rotor and extra standard helicals in discharge area of processor. Im not saying what you have got is not right, just if you are happy to try these ideas out Im sure you will see a big improvement in your machine. (Bushels per Hour per HP) Check with your dealer if know about any of these upgrades and if he is willing to help you out with them. Ask question on here and you will get someone to answer you with in a few hours most times. Have fun playing and learning your new machine. Rolf

Welcome aboard. I think you made a good decision. let us know how you get along and tell us about the comaprisons between the 2 machines. Red would probably be my second choice. There's a lot of them around and the guys like them. Main thing I notice when comparing them to a Gleaner is they always seem a little light built to me. But they must work pretty good. I see a lot of them still running with a lot of hours on them.
