I had a C in i962 and a C-2 in 1964. Just looked at the original literature in my file on them. Both had 60 bu grain tanks, 40" wide cylinders x 19-3_4 in diameter. They had 4 straw walkers, but does not give the width of them. 262 cu in engine. Total cleaning area 3700 sq in. 10366 lbs with 16' head.

C cylinder bars were the same ones an M used, might the walker width in a C orC-2 be the same as a M,just shorterIJ

Thanks it sounds about right.I knew they were just a touch bigger than an F. the C models are one of my favorites everything about them is classic GlEANER. I would love to have a C2 to rebuild but my dad won't let me buy one because he says there too old perhaps some day if there are any left! but I do have a 3 combines now. A 1975 K beautiful machine shines like a mirror,1968 F just bought needs work but it will run like a watch before corn And last a 1976 F it is almost flawless but getting there!! Matt

We just traded our C2 Diesel w_13' rigid and 430 orange corn head for a 10HP electric motor. lots of duct tape held her together at the end :) Ours had the bin extention, cab, and flex head control with cable. IIRC the bin would hold just over 100 bu. We now have an F2 Diesel with 15' flex and 430 black corn head. Jason
