Roger http:__talk.newagtalk.com_forums_forum-view.aspIJfid=2 Go there, get a login name and password and ask these guys your question. It has been so long since I peeled one of those pumps off I am not sure if i would do you justice trying to explain and probably someone there can do better.

take round cover off front of engine to see gear on injector pump, turn to top dead center on crankshaft, pump gear mark will be lined up with needle on pump ,take pump off. opposite to put on , if doesnt crank back take pump gear off , turn engine one complete turn and reinstall gear on pump lining up mark and needle on pump. a good pump man will put it back where you took it off at.

Got it fixed. The pump man said it was a dirty inner engine air filter. That's the only filter I didn't change (since July 2004). He did say the pump head was just slightly loose, but the governor was fine. I did put the pump back on at 21 degrees btdc instead of 18 degrees. Thanks.
