go with the cih. jd still has not worked out some major problems with their new STS,STX, and etc. machines. their problem was they tried to get a rotary machine on the market before it was tested properly. cat is too expensive for the benefit to be gained by running the machine. parts and service may also be an issue with the cat. cih has many problems of their own, however, they are by far the least trouble prone and the least experimental.

Try to get a demo with the local Cat dealer. I have seen the ad of a central Il cat dealer and looks like they have been taking a lot of CIH's in on trade this year. I don't know if they are trading guys for the rotor version of the lexions or not, but something must be going on. Might be worth your time to at least get a quote. I am sure that you will do all of your homework prior to buying, good luck.
