Rex,I agree with you 110 %.I think all companies, have in the back room a madd engineer.His job is to make anything as backassward as possible.I can see him smiling some times.Just think of all the caps that have been thrown,of all the ,!and@nn$%^*and%%$^%and^%%and*words that this guy has been called.

Everyone has a different opinion, but I like the accelerator roll arrangement, because I figure if one bearing is bad, the other needs replacing too. And it sure is easier to cut off a bearing on the floor than in the combine. It helps to have a helper on the chaffer when removing_replacing those things unless you have mighty strong arms. Remember to turn the bearing lock rings per the manual because as I recall one is different but I dont remember which one. Good luck Tom in MN

My point Tom is if the bearing carriers were mounted on the outside of the machine (on the left side) instead of on the inside of the thrasher, you could change all four on that side without removing the complete drive assembly on the right side. Just plain dumb in my opinion and many others at the local Dealership.

The guy I want to get a hold of is the person that puts together parts books! The more recent ones a pretty good but some of the older oner are a nightmare
