My recommendation is to use cover plates when harvesting soybeans. Pulling concave wires will increase separating capacity in corn. Cover plates are used when harvesting wheat or soybeans and removed when shelling corn. With the cover plates installed the threshing will be excellent in wheat and soybeans even when every other wire is pulled.
