Neighbor has a 820 platform with that type guards and every other section is upside down , says doublecut on it , works real good , used his machine last year and it cuts as good or better than my 1020 with CIH 11_2 system . SCH makes the same thing , I have seen them at Farm Shows and have been thinking of changing , mine is getting worn out . Anybody know how good they work IJ No one around here has one . Neighbor bought it used and I don't know where he gets parts for it . I didn't mention before we use it for beans only . All comments will be appreciated , Thanks JIM

Jim, I have the double cut system on a 1020 head and love it. Works great in beans, no shattering of beans in the head. We grow wheat and seed it to hay, so somtimes we are cutting in green stems. With the standard CIH 1 1_2 knife we always had trouble. The double cut will cut through anything! Please ask your neighbor for the name of the company, I can't seem find the phone number or name of distributer were I bought it. Thanks!

I found some information on this cutting system today at a Farm Show . It is called Easy Cut mfd. by SCH which is Schumacher Company lC 502 West 1st Av. PO Box 608 Durant , Ia 52747 Ph 319-785-4499 Fax 318-785-4426 www.schumachereric.com Distributed by S.I. Distributing , 1-800-368-7773 03221 Barber-Werner Road , St. Marys , OH 45885 . Shoup Manufacturing of Kankakee , Il handles all the parts for the system , they have only parts , you can't buy the whole kit from them I was told . The kit for a CIH 1020 -20ft is $1025 about $300 higher than CIH 3" system . Guards are $12.50 , sections are $1 . Guard prices are almost double oem prices but sections are about the same . The system looks pretty good and simple to me . I don't know if this is what you are talking about or not but I came across it today and I thought I'd pass it along JIM
