my brother works in parts he said they only sell the regular ones i put new impeler blades on with the regular pads on. the machnic said ther isn't much differance

A couple of years ago we had alot of down corn in the area. There was alot of dirt pulled in the machines and alot of wear bars were worn out in one season but one machine I worked on had chrome bars on and there was no wear and I guess it sold me that there is a difference. It is up to the owner if he wants to spend the extra money or not.

If you don't have alot of rocks then they are worth the extra $. But the chrome are brittle and don't handle the rocks.
