If you had gone to an aftermarket supplier, and you may have I don't know, but I just priced one out at $297, and I am sure there are other suppliers for even less.
It has two sizes of flighting, the high wear shorter section having the 1_4" on the outer edge you are mentioning and is also hardsurfaced, and the longer flight section being thinner. This is an aftermarket from loewen.
