You can safely turn the injection pump up to top of spec. I would never go beyond, for a few reasons. The TR99 has larger sprockets on the rotors and gearboxes to stand up to the extra horsepower. It also has a tighter spring and better cams inside of the tourque sensor and a different rotor belt compared to the TR98. If you crank it up too much, it will become harder on fuel and run hotter. The mentioned changes were made for a reason - too handle thew added horsepower. FYI these changes can easily be retrofitted on your TR98.
