Just replying to your question. Every year that we have owned a 9500 since they first came out with the 9000 series we have ran the inserts in corn. Most years we beging shelling when corn is around 25% or less. This year we started at around 22-23%. WE chose not to put them in since we couldnt tell much difference esspecially at 22% or dryer corn. We always usually loose 2 or 3. Sometime the lock up the return grain and some we have never even found. One was sitting on the shakers one time about to fall off. Back to the insets. We didnt use them this year and everthing is working out great. If corn is that dry i'd take them out if you already have them in. How is your corn turning outIJ We've had 200 acres go over 200 non irrigated hill ground notill. best corn ever and plan to average 170 +. beans both wheat beans and full season will go 45.
