Combines Is the rumor trueIJ

I think the green sh@n is on its way out. i have bought a 1999 6405 tractor and a 260 skid loader with backhoe.Problems with both-dealer support minimal or non-existent.The product is only as good as the support rightIJ The nameandgreen paint can only run them so far.

Oliver guys are smarter than that. After all, if it wasn't for Oliver, John Deere wouldn't have a tractor today.

I know a JD 45 is a small combine but that is a huge feeder house if it is size of the combine. Does that mean a 45 JD can fit inside the Gleaner feeder houseIJ John

Hey Doc better read the posts again I didn't say anything about feederhouses, I don't care about 12 row heads on any color. I just wanted to know if a rumor I heard was true. And yes I do get more than I would like.

Maybe they will just stick with lawn mowers but after we got that Kobota Zero turn radius mower.. they might just need to stick with selling merchandise at American Eagle and bubba's shop down the road

The first combine I ever drove was a 1967 Oliver 525 with a cab. She was a fine machine in her day. It must have been a good combine because I recently heard from the guy that dad sold it to in 1977 that the machine is still running! In the 1950s and into the 60s Oliver equipment had the reputation that John Deere does today. Deere was still fooling around with those silly old popping Johnnies until 1960 when they finally got their act together.
