Safe to haul what? a horse?, a cow? sheep, goats? If you mean is your truck the right size to haul the trailer and 2000# of horses then yes according to the 7,000 towing capacity.

Should not be a problem, as long as the brakes on the trailer work properly.

More generic stuff..... YES your truck is rated to do it.... but as has been mentioned already, do the brakes work?, lights?, have you inspected the springs, mounts, frame, tires, wheels, bearings??///

I've towed my boat which weighs more than that with my 2005 F150.

A 1/2 ton is usually fine with a two horse trailer as long as it's not a gooseneck. Get a brake controller and a load distribution hitch adapter.
