We had one back in the early 80s. It is a great disk for level land. Pulling the 220 disk behind our 4440 was like plowing 19' wide. On moderately sloping land, we had problems with it either throwing a ridge or cutting a ditch. If you have flat fields I would highly reccomend it, if you farm sloping land you might want something else that is not offset. When the 220 was new, I remember dad put water in the tires on the folding wing because it was lighter and did not go in the ground as deep as the other side. Also, I have heard that the early 220 disks with yellow gangs were not as good as the later ones with black gangs. Ours had the black gangs. Not sure what the problems were but it is something you might want to look into.
