We replaced the bars and concave last year on our 9600 you need to buy the new bolt kit as the old ones were sae and the new ones are metric or vicea versa and the forklift is the best way to handle the iron monster take a look at the beeter grate that george kushner builds for the 9600 it looks to me to be the real ticket to help keep the grain off the walker and put it on the seive just a thought good luck

You can reuse the interior bolts again. But this would only be done if they are in good condition.

I work on JD combines for a living, and just found this site. The 13 bar 9610 concave is an inprovement, but must be used with a 9610 beater grate. They re-did the angle at whitch the two meet to help matial flow. After getting the feeder house off with our own shop built stand, f I use a cherry picker to pull out and install the concave.
