I've run a 925D for two seasons harvesting only rice. It's a big improvement over any other head I've used in a rice field. It took quite a bit of adjusting to get it right when we first started with it in '00. It came with a couple of Deere engineers that stayed with it for the first two weeks. It would cut standing rice with no trouble, but had difficulties with lodged rice. They adjusted about everything adjustable on the machine and also changed crop dividers, sickle parts, and a piece used to time the fingers leading to the feader house. There may have been other changes , but that's all I can remember. Since they left, I've done little or nothing to it other than normal maintenance (and that ain't much). Right now, I rank it right up there with my front end loader. Tools I farmed without for too many years.

I have had mine two seasons and no real big problems at all. The biggest problem that almost made me give it back to the dealer right away was picking up lodged durum. It wanted to push the wet dirt! lots of adjustments later it then worked good. This last year the ground was not wet which helped a lot. Also put those 4 poly skids on that Deere sells and that helped also. There should be more skids in other locations to help more. I would not want to give up that header now - works great!

Case dealers can sell the 1042_1052 draper heads that are supplied to them by MacDon. They have been making draper heads for years.fyi

I ran two 930D heads for one season. I loved them in good standing grain with small hills because they floated so well, and fed the grain perfectly, however, when you would cut anything with a fairly steep slope you would be cleaning it out all day because any dirt you pick up thats the slightest bit wet builds up under the center feeding belt and plugs. We played with them a lot but could never completely stop the build up so we decided to get rid of them. A draper head would be great if you only cut fairly flat ground, but if you cut many hills you may want to reconsider.

I ran a 936d on 01 harvest after 2000 hours and twenty sickle bars I can say it fed ok but there was nothing left of the head, it was completly wore out and falling a part.
