Don't go with the Green Star. You'll wish you hadn't! The Green Star monitor is not nearly as accurate because it doesn't base it's values on a curve, instead a straight line. It assumes that your ground speed and everything else remains the same which you and i both know it doesn't. Well, if you have questions, you should ask an ag leader dealer. They will help you more. I tell you what, it is kinda complicated what they'll explain to you, but when they do it'll make perfect sense if you stop and think about it.

Most of the components for the combine green star can be used on your tractor for parallel tracking and the new auto-steer. Drove the auto steer on a 9400T. only had to touch the steering wheel to turn on the end of the field, amazing!

There really shouldn't be any butchering involved. The installations I've seen have all been pretty clean. For next year, they've done away with the header height sensor. Deere has allowed them to tie directly in to the electronics to determine whether the head is down or not. I just ordered Ag leader monitors for all of my machines, and I'm expecting good things out of them.

We ran four STS with green star this summer. It doesn't work period. It isn't worth a dime.
