Combines John Deere Draper

I have had mine for three years. Have it on a 9610. Was not happy with it right away on the wet ground when trying to pick up downed wheat. Got it adjusted better and learned how to use it better and now works just great. I added the poly skids also. I am worried that the pipes for finger reel will start to wear through over years of use - the plastic should wear but after seeing how the Crary Air Finger reel is made - I think Deere should make theirs differently.

I've been running a 925D for three years. Great header in rice. It has few adjustments, But they are critical. Does good in down rice, I recentlly orderd new header with steel pick-up fingers. The plastic would sometimes flex when feeding in heavy wet down rice. The 9750 and 925D was just awesome in standing rice.

we also have run them we run the 936D with the plastic pickup fingers on them. they are a great header and we cut 25 bushel wheat with them in montana at 5-6 mph and they cut the crop off very well would definately recomend them.

We cut 35 bu wheat at 5 mph with a 936 mounted on our CTS II along with the neighbors 9600 and 9750 STS in Montana. The header worked great with no problems. After seeing it, my neighbor is going to get one for his combine.

Ran both 936d and 930f headers last summer.Definately prefered the draper,it has awesome capacity as long as you keep good tension on the belts.Ran a 9650sts at 7.5mph in 30bu_a in drought prone Colorado.Although in downed wheat in ND it was quite a challenge to stop it "digging for worms".Grease the sickle knive plastic bearing and check the bolts for tightness that attach the wobble box to the frame every day as these items gave us trouble. If working in downed crops lift your reel slightly when turning out of work as this will ease the "bonce" factor on a 36f reel and it will stop your plastic finger tines wearing prematurely.

Neighbor runs both a 930D and a Honey Bee. I believe he prefers the Honey Bee. Cuts better, lighter, and not as much money.
