IG, Sounds interesting, I imagine the new styling is plastic panels. Are the tranverse rotor gleaners going to have this new type styling too, and were there any other changes mechanically with the R-seriesIJ Did they go with single point hookup on the headersIJ Also does the new A-series sport a new cab or is this still a year or two awayIJ As you can tell I am very curious. Good to hear that they went to a full fingered auger and 35' flex. Now if only the pricing of these machines would stay down but that is probably not possible with new technology. Was the new axial Gleaner A-85 the main highlight, or was there other Agco products such as sprayers, tractors, and hay equipment at the show. Thanks for the info

The A series 65 and 75 are just silver Massey best I can tell. Cabs are virtually unchanged and are still more than modern. The style and modern lines of the A85 and its Massey twin certainly give it more curb appeal than the "boxes" we've all been accustomed to. Side panels on the class 8 buggies are still a large portion of metal, but with plastic on the lower and rear areas to give the machine some curves. Forgot to mention the full finger head on my post. Not like the JD and case heads this head has a set of fingers exposed between each flight every half turn. The competition has one finger per flight exposed each full turn. Basiucally when the finbgers are exposed to the front there is another set 180 degrees opposite in the retracted position. look like sched 40 hollow fingers not solid.

Yes there is a new single point hook up.looks like a Deere clone to me.They also said that they have a kit to make the old ones that also.New 4 chains on the feeder chains.Hydraulics are new on all combines. There were tractors,combines,planters,hay equipment,and tillage.

I got a CD with the combines on it if I can figure out how to get them off of that nad on to the computer I will get them out. IG

Just curios if planters, tillage, or hay equipment is all avaliable under both the Agco and Massey name now. What have they done with the White nameIJ

There were Agco planters and Massey planters.

Sounds very interesting, i sure would like to know more about the flexheads, wondering if they changed the skid shoes at all so we can cut lower, would really like to see some pictures too, thanks for all your information.
