Why would you go backwards and get a conventional. Even the green boys are going to rotors hehehe. Not sure how to set but neighbours sure had good luck with thier 7720 reliable and fair capacity

Any green machine is good in my opinion. How big is your header, and what kind of shape are the rasp bars and concaveIJ

I just replaced the rub bars (they were bent from a rockIJ). Concave looked good, machine has 1400 hours, 20 foot header. In canola I can pick up a 20 foot swath at 3 mph works out to approx 400 bu_hour (60 bu_ac). My wheat looks like 80-100 bu_ac with a lot of straw, I was going cut it short and bale the straw but how much will it slow me downIJ Thanks Oh yeah, I am tired of fixing my rotory, the feederhouse is to narrow and I have had constant problems feeding for years. This Deere is kind of boring, just drive back and forth all day without stopping to unplug the feeder, replace chains that blew off, etc. I am starting to like the green paint.
