I replaced the interior in my N6 a couple years ago and it does take time and effort to do a good job. Scrape as much of the old interior off of the steel and then use glue remover to clean it the rest of the way. Outside with door and window open is best taking many breaks(fumes). My kit was precut and only went a couple inches into the console area so sliding it in first seemed to be the best before applying the glue. There are several grades of glue, get the strongest_best or you won't be happy in a couple years. Apply the glue as directed and make sure everything is lined up the first time, the glue doesn't give second chances. Set in place then roll with any device similar to a rolling pin to attach all areas of the new foam_vinyl. I would not recommend carpet remnants for the floor. Combines work in way too much dust and dirt and carpet will hold the dirt where the rubber_foam will clean much easier. And I found from experience that the carpet doesn't deaden the sound as well as the rubber_foam does. My kit came from "Hy capacity" and looks identical to original. I am very pleased with the way my install went and has lasted. My dealer did an excellent job of instructing me on the process. Good luck!
