Combines Kansas Wheat Harvest

We farm in Sedgwick County and are usually no more than two or three days behind the border counties. I always plan my vacation to help Dad one week either side of June 17. Of course the weather will affect this more than anything else, and I have also missed harvest with this schedule when the rains drug it into July (and August and finally September) Chuck

I was on a harvest crew 4 years ago, and we were cutting in Kansas from about June 10 until June 25. The crew is was on only did about 1200 acres there until we moved to Colorado.
