1480 will equal about 1._5 l2s. Bin capcity IJ The shoe will need to be set properly, but you can get a lot more done with the 1480. The 1480 should be good in price. Be aware that the rotar may need bars if it has been used a lot. I could cut wheat(40 bushel) about 2 mph with the l2 and 5.5 with the 1480. I have since went to the R62 and it is equal to 2 l2s in capacity and especially maintenance. The R62 is much easier to service than the 1480. Good luck.
