This is just my opinion but, if I was going to replace the cylinder bars I would seriously consider the Trimpe bars. Reasons being: extra capacity and longer wear life. I am not sure about price. I have a set in a M2 and would not go back to the regular bars. Also I don't know if this statement is true but I have heard that Trimpe would redo your old bars. I didn't deal with Trimpe when I purchased mine. Might be worth a phone call and see. Sorry, I don't have the number but I'm sure someone on here has it Good luck!! T3

I agree with the above comments on Trimpe Bars. I was there Tuesday and they have what you need. Not sure about cost but, you will not need another set for a long time if you buy them from Trimpe. I have Clarence Trimpes number 812-522-1398 ...not sure if that is shop number , but it will get you there. When I was there a Case-IH Dealer from Il called to get bars because their customers want Trimpe put in machine not Case-IH. The Case-IH dealer cringes but still gets a markup plus labor, so he does not lose out too bad. Seemed like a great testimonial to me
