Dave, If you use your machine in corn or soybeans I would install the wide spaced bars, less damage and more capacity. Ausherman cylinder bars are the brand that we used at the time. I'm not sure if you can still get bars from them. I think they are now a division of Great Plains Manufac. in Kansas. Good luck, Mike

I have run loewen bar's in my l2's. I put them in the combine's in 2001. I have combined everything from cereal's_ oilseed's_ soybean's_ sunflower's. I have put 2000 acre's plus every year on them. I will run this year with them and next year I'll get new one's put in. Make sure you get the harden one's.

Never used the loewen bars ,but what I see they look like stock bars. I would go with Trimpe bars,just trade in your old ones. Trimpe cuts every other tooth out and hard lays the other teeth. Works better than stock bars and they will be the last set you will buy for your combine. Had them in a M2 for 15 years+
