Combines l header drive clutch problem

Well it would be nice to know how many volts to clutch. Would like at least 11 or better. Does he still have single wire going to clutchIJ If single wire he needs to be sure second terminal on clutch is grounded. To bypass poor connection at fuse, fuse holder, switch, ect. he could run jumper from battery positive to pigtail going to brusholder. If bad voltage drop accross brusholder he could get on from l2. If still single wire on l he would need to hook the single wire to + terminal on newer style l2 brusholder. If he needs to get at clutch he will need to pull wire out of keyway in shaft if straight clutch ground drive system (he'll need new cover if he does this). To get at clutch the main pulley will have to be removed. This is a taperlock system. Remove three 5_16 bolts and install in other three holes after first being sure threads are clean. Evenly screw in the three bolts to push pulley off taper. Clutch is now accessable. If he has early enough l it may not have the threaded holes to push sheave off. In that case he would need a puller. Hope he doesn't have to go this far. Clutch off l2 will likely go right on the l. Best of luck
