Yes there is a needle and seat under reel raise solinoid and under the reel lower solinoid. Usually called popet kits. I believe the seat for needle is .055 under the lower solinoid and .040 under the raise solinoid. Either one could do it and the kit for .040 is likely cheaper to try first. Make sure there are no external leaks and maybe just unhook reel lift hose coupling one time with it lifted a bit to be sure it isn't in reel lift cylinder. Good luck

I think it would take a bish adapter and be a tough task, a few shaft parts changes. Our Neighbor put a 630 hugger on an M3 with the bish adapter and works really well. I would suggest a lM316 for you if you dont want to put the header on a cart to move it around, if you have a cart look for a lM318 or lM320.. Most of these around may be used up or one in good shape may run 5-7000 dollars or so. They are very rebuildable, we rebuilt a lM315 about 4 years ago, new sheetmetal in the belly, stainless feather sheets, fingers, guides and all bearings, had about 1200 dollars in it. If you could find a rebuilder you could do it for less than a bish adapter is worth and then you would know what you have. Chances are, any 3 series you find even if an R model you will have to put some money into it.. Search the net, make phone calls, they are out there.. My 2 cents

I think you can do it. A neighbour put an N series head on his M2 and we put a 500 series head off an R52 on our M3. It takes some cutting and welding to remake the mount to hang it on your combine but the result will work well.
