Did you check the wire with a meter to see if there are any breaks in itIJ If you have the pickup set right then either a mouse had fun with the wire where you can't see it or the monitor needs repaired. I have found it is best to remove the monitors from the housing and let them hang by the wires this way a mouse has one less nesting place.

Excellent advice relative to the monitors housing mice, describes exactly what I found today, while checking out the cylinder speed monitor on our l2. Wires chewed through and being chewed on, along with two great big fuzzy nests.
