Bearing must pivot nearly freely in bearing holder or it may not self center which will quickly take out the bearing. Bearing should never spin on shaft if nut is up to specs. Approx 200 ftlbs. Make sure they have surface of shaft squared up so bearing buts up squarely. loctite bearing to shaft. Make sure surfuce of pulley hub is squared up so it buts up against bearing inner race squarely. Now to be sure that inner race of bearing is being compressed properly you have to be sure pulley hub protrudes beyond end of shaft at least 1_8". Often times when a guy tries to save a few bucks and have this stuff rebuilt they miss original dementions. Check this stuff out closely and you'll surely find problem. Best of luck

I agree with Dan 100% and also don't forget to check PTO shaft for alignment to flywheel. Have seen endplate shift when dampner disc fails and then it is hard to get bearing and plate to last.Should have no more than .030 runout from shaft to flywheel. Need to check with dial indicator. Good luck, Hyper Harvest II

The hole in bearing plate is not a bored hole so it won't be perfectly round. You'll go nuts trying to dial it in to zero.

try installing the pulley on the shaft backwards,,have seen inner bore mushroomed smaller from installing, inner bore will tighten against shaft instead of bearing race.should slide on with little force both ways
