If the entire dash is out.. try checking the cab ground. We had a similar problem with an 8070,,, fuel gauge quit, alternator warning light would come on ,transmission warning light would flicker. After many headaches we finally found the cab ground wire to be loose, tightening it up and end of problems.

All of the components work - upper and lower dash - only the 4 position switch does not work. I f you push the test button on the panel beside it it will light up and diplay the n 8 IJIJ

I'm not good at explaining things but above the tattletale's is a wiring harness that connects the one you are having trouble with to the one with the push button beeper thing. We had a short there a year or so ago and I was ready to pull my hair out looking for it. If I remember correctly there was a wiring harness that ran in behind the tattletale's and one that runs on top and right where it drops down it chaffed the wire enough to short it out. I hope I didn't confuse you to bad Curt curtieous@aol.com

I've had a chance to look inside the machine since yesterday. There are a few things to check there is a tach fuse on your main fuse board. Sometimes just a slight rotation of the fuse and your back in business. If not I would try to follow that wire I believe it's orange. When I tried pressing the test button on our machine I got 88.88 so whatever that means I'm not sure, I think that just resets the display. I hope that helps, Curt

looks like 5amp fuse sends currant to orange_white wire which goes all the way to n1terminal of tack plug no matter what your S_N is. There should be no inline fuse. The ground is n3 terminal. Plugs are numbered but you have to look very very close and carefully. If you have voltage and ground then have module tested at dealership. Good luck
