After you get the 3_8" bolt out, you have to loosen the 1_2" bolt. Then the idler assembly and support block (that's what the bolts screw into) will slide out the cutout hole in the back of the false bottom assembly. Hope this helps. Now, what I need to know is, what is the recommended way of adjusting the front (thresher) raddle chain. I find that that the rear (separator) chain should have 1"-1 1_2" space under it when 10 lbs force is used to lift it, but that chain is a lot longer. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Adjust the front chain so you're just able to move it side to side on the sprockets.

Many thanks! Either I'm looking in the wrong place in the Operators Manual or it's not in there. Nice to know where to go to find out!
