My family made the decision to move up from a cherry l2 to an R60 6 years ago so I wouldnt have to work all night long getting the crop in the bin. You cannot imagine the increase in capacity. After learning how to run a high capacity machine I no longer have to work after sundown. I would never go back to a smaller machine. You should be able to steal a Gleaner on any Deere dealers lot. You know he didnt allow much for it in trade so you shouldnt have to pay much for it either. You might be better off having a local machinery jockey buy it for you. Deere dealers around here dont give anything away to farmers but they will to other dealers. My best Gleaner dealer is 75 miles away. We have no trouble getting parts delivered to our farm within 1 or 2 days. I almost never have in-season breakdowns so a 2-day wait is no big deal. Sorry I have no idea what machinery prices are in your area. Tom in MN
