Combines l3 concave

I would replace it with one of the aftermarket concaves that have opened up the concave all the way up to the hump, adding more crossbars, more area for threshing. Greatly improves the thresh.

suggest a concave from st john's welding. we use them and they'll last a lot longer. their the one who originally added the extra crossbars

I use the St. Johns cylinder and concave. Best money spent on the l3. This year I averaged 8 acres hour in 60 bu wheat with 22' header. That is stopping to unload. My speedo showed 4 mph.

I believe loewen had it out there before St Johns started making concaves. A Gleaner dealer from Alberta designed it.

I have a 9 bar modified loewen in mine with 2 filler strips. I harvest mostly wheat, flax, and barley and it does a very good job.
