The grain heads for this series of combine are getting hard to find at least a 320 floater. Corn heads are easy to find. I would find a head first.

You could check in the grain tank for wear. I just parted with my l-3 for about 40% of it's value.

Buy a bish adapter and put a JD corn head on it. They are far more reliable that a twenty year old AC corn head and with the adapter they work like they were made for the Gleaner combine. Check the hydro out. take it out on the road and see if it slows down going up a hill in high gear wide open. Some slowing is normal but if it almost stops, the hydro is shot. Check the rwa out by turning it on wile moving. It should slow the ground speed by about half if it's working. See if the monitors work. Run the seporater with the cyclinder speed as fast as it will go to check for vibration. Just make shure it doesn't have filler bars in it first. Check the stone door. Make shure it latches tight and isn't to baddly dented up. Check the walkers out, make shure all the grating is still in them. If not it can be replaced. I could go on if you have anymore questions shoot me an email. Marc
