Can't say that I've ever heard of a grain bin that large. However, if you do decide to extend that far, we manufacture an extra heavy-duty rear axle center for that machine, I'm sure you'll need one! Give us a shout at 1-888-327-6767 hth Marc T

I have a JD 7700 that has been running for 25 years with a 365 bushel hopper. I bought it 3 years ago. Can do a full round in 1_2 mile rows with 180bu corn and 6-row head and unload over the ditch-no grain cart or truck in field. No frame mods-rear axle was custom fabed from 3pt implement. Final drives are stock JD Heavy Duty. The KEY as I understand it is to dish the rims in and balance the load that way.

Of course lots of people have them and probably most don't have issues, but from my experience with bin extentions, I say don't do it. If you want to keep your machine for a long time it's much harder on them. Our 2188 has had a 250 bu extention on it from new and the drive tires are screwed from the extra weight. We followed the operator manual on air pressure. After asking at the tire shop why our tires were so cracked they said it was from under inflation. Unfortunatley I just deleted 2 photos I took with my phone of a 9750 with a foot long crack in the frame behind the cab. It was equipped with a 400 bu extention. Crack was in the frame structure that supported the weight of the grain. By the way, it was on land that is table top flat.
