I've got a late model 1680,1993 model. There are some differences to a 1688. Mainly hydraulics. The 1688 had better header lift speed, also the cleaning fan is better.I got duals on mine and love em.Have not had any final drive dramas yet in 3000 hours.Only up grades I've done are cleaning fan and shoe drive hangers.
