I'm fairly certain you'll need a differnt potentiometer for the header height. Field tracker is the same. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

We don't have a field tracker, so I'm not sure about that, but we've converted our AHHC to work with either combine. You need to look your 1020 and see if the pot is actuated with a cable (old style) or if it has been updated to the new style mechanical linkage. If you can find a 2002 or newer header to look at, it will have the new style linkage. The new style linkage has a different pot that will work with the 1600 series or the 2100 and 2300 series. All you have to do is put in a pig tail adaptor for the 1600 series or take it out for the newer machines. This is a much heavier duty setup and probably worth the upgrade. It costs about $212 for the whole kit, or if you already have it on your header I think the pig tail is about $15. Ask you dealer about kit n434092A4E, but I don't have the adaptor PN. I probably have some pictures for you to look at if you email me. Mike

The rod linkage update works great vs. the cable setup but, the universal pot didn't work worth a crap (pun intended). It was much too sensitive for my 1680. I installed my original pot and it has worked flawlessly ever since.
