the serial number should be on the rear left corner of the machine.If you post that then some one can give you the age. My N5 was from the first year and although it has given engine trouble, anything else was due to hours of use (over 5500 hours on engine).These machines have all kinds of capacity and I personaly think you can run with a 9500 deere if it is set up properly.
